Nothing prepared me for the balancing act

Thanks to BPW Zürich and the Amazing Ladies Apero Group in Zürich, I recently had the pleasure of speaking at an event that brought together brilliant, inspiring women.

I shared a core belief that guides both my personal and professional life: Making meal prep simple and stress-free helps us connect more deeply with our families, stay calmer as parents and even perform better at work.

The Reality Check: The Evening Balancing Act

With 15 years of experience in finance and real estate, a background as a certified chef, and current studies in nutrition, I've tackled a lot. But nothing prepared me for the intense balancing act of work, parenting, self-care, and maintaining a relationship, especially during that chaotic evening rush.

The Dinner Dilemma: Where Chaos Often Kicks In

Dinner time, meant to be a moment of connection and nourishment, can quickly become the most stressful part of the day. We're tired. The kids are cranky. There's no time to chop a carrot, let alone create a calm, nutritious mealtime experience.

Why I start The Laughing Broccoli

This daily struggle is exactly what inspired me to create The Laughing Broccoli, a wellbeing brand focused on helping families reclaim calm, fun and nourishment at dinnertime.

The first offering is "The Calm Kitchen Reset" a 21-day system built for busy parents who want to feel proud of what’s on the table, get their families eating real food, and restore peace to their evenings (without losing their minds).

I truly believe change is possible, but only when it feels achievable, supportive, and even joyful.

Right now, I’m putting the finishing touches on the program and testing it with a small group of families to fine-tune every detail. Stay tuned for the official launch!
